THE BALANCING ACT - 10.03.20
October 3, 2020
I know I should be writing about my novels but keep getting pushed off track with what has been happening in our unpredictable world. We are being worn down. At least I am. I'm even to the point where I wonder if we are headed to a "new normal." I'm not sure if "normal" is ever going to exist again.
President Trump's contracting the coronavirus has triggered greater uncertainty as to our Country's future. This is a dire moment for America. Hopefully, our politicians will figure a way to reach across the aisle and work together to protect and save our Nation.
It is apparent to me that there is a balancing act going on. It is between scientifically fighting the virus and maintaining an economy that does not allow a wrong choice or others to destroy our Country. Both need to be considered. I understand both sides and admit I have no idea how to balance the scale. But, I do know we need to work together to find the right solution.
If you are looking for a good crime novel to take your mind off what's happening, check out "Death & Taxes" and "Death on the High Seas" by clicking here
If you have read one or both of my novels, please leave a review on the above Amazon website or other review location. To expand my audience it would be appreciated if you would share this post.
I wish the President and the First Lady a quick and healthy recovery. I was happy to hear that their 14-year-old son, Barron, has tested negative. May he and all of you stay safe.
